Foundry Wood is a managed access community woodland created by ARC in 2013. The woodland is now co-managed alongside the Friends of Foundry Wood.
ARC led the development of the woodland from a disused site, creating footpaths, wildlife habitats and building an outdoor classroom for community and educational activities. Hundreds of local volunteers were involved in the process.
ARC now run a number of activities at the woodland including Wellbeing in Nature Sessions, Mini- Forest Schools, School and Group Visits, Children’s Parties and much much more!
