Woodland Wellbeing for Veterans

ARC supports people to access and engage with the outdoors for their mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Tallis Wood Course for Armed Forces Veterans

This Autumn we will be running a Tallis Wood course exclusively for Armed Forces Veterans. The course will take place on Mondays in Tallis Wood –  a beautiful young woodland just outside the village of Radford Semele between Leamington Spa and Southam. Transport can be provided from Leamington Railway Station if required.

There will be a taster day on 18th October and the 6 week course will run from 1st November. Sessions are Mondays 10.30am til 3.30pm. This will be run in partnership with the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

Previous participants on our Woodland Wellbeing courses have found this to be a very helpful and healing programme for mental and physical health.

We encourage all who may find this of benefit to get in touch or come along to the Taster day.

If you are interested in participating or referring a participant please contact Man-Lan Adams on 02476 302912 or man-lan.adams@wkwt.org.uk.

NB All food (including a hearty lunch), snacks and drinks are provided – participants just need to bring themselves and what they may need to be comfortable outside for the day in the woodland. We do have a wooden roundhouse for shelter but wrap up warm (waterproofs and layers) as we’ll be outside for the day.
